Emulsion Coating

CARLEM 48 is a one-component, water-based emulsion coating formulated with modified bitumen, used as a barrier system against water and moisture penetration.
This product adheres strongly to concrete surfaces, and once dried, it prevents the ingress of water, harmful chloride ions, sulfates, and salts from the surrounding soil.

Applications:

• Waterproofing of concrete floors and walls

• Back-of-wall waterproofing in contact with soil

• Protection against penetration of salts, chlorides, and sulfates into concrete

Benefits:

• High elasticity and elongation—suitable for movement cracks and expansion joints

• Excellent adhesion to concrete and strong mechanical resistance

• Resistant to fungi, bacteria, and corrosive ions in water

• Water-soluble, free from petroleum solvents, and easy to apply

Application & Dosage:

• Mixing ratio with water: 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on surface and project conditions

• Application method: by brush or roller on concrete surfaces

• Consumption: 1000 to 1200 grams per square meter of diluted product
